One thing first: this was my very first AirBnB booking and Carine and Toon made this first booking a wonderful experience with their incredible hospitality and a great house. The beautiful and modern equipped house is nicely located and quiet, has direct access to the lake (with jetty and rowing boat). My Labradoodle Oscar loved romping through the beautiful natural meadows, rolling in the tall grass or splashing in the water. Down by the lake there is also a very cosy fireplace for a campfire or barbecue. I was not interested in fishing, but there's even a smoker available! The groundfloor of the house offers a bathroom (modern shower with ceiling sprinkler, hand shower, massage jets, seat and pad for foot massage, mirror, washstand with spacious drawers and two sinks, toilet, towel radiator and access to the great sauna. Another WC with small washbasin is also located on the groundfloor, next to the bathroom. A washing machine as well as a vacuum cleaner can be found in the storage room, which is also a great place for suitcases and bags during the stay. The hallway is spacious and practical equipped with wardrobe and storage space for shoes. All rooms on the groundfloor are accessible from the hallway, from here also the staircase leads upstairs. The living/dining area is very tastefully furnished and offers state-of-the-art technology. Now I finally know why we need an induction cooker at home. :-) There was NOTHING missing in this kitchen. Unbelievably modern, stylish and complete for a holiday home. The multimedia equipment is also impressive, with a modern Philips TV and Google Chromecast (allows to cast the screen from a smartphone to the TV). Where there's Chromecast, there's Wi-Fi, too. You can sit very comfortably at the counter in the open kitchen. The living room offers two sofas as well as a table and is wonderfully flooded with sunlight, thanks to the large window front to the terrace and additional windows. All windows have opaque blinds. A table, four chairs and sun loungers are available on the roofed wooden terrace. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. As I was travelling alone, I only used one of the bedrooms. The matress of the bed was very comfortable, duvet and pillow were covered with nice and comfy linen. The wardrobe was functional. Even though the house already wowed me, Carine and Toon are the real stars. Two such lovely, genuine and warm people who are the perfect hosts with absolute passion but completely unobtrusive. Thank you, I felt absolutely welcome and "at home" with you from the personal welcome to the farewell!

Would definitely recommend! Me and 4 friends spent 6 nights at the stuga to write our thesis and (of course) have fun in a beautiful part of Sweden. The Stuga is very neat and has all that one needs for a nice week. The sauna is great, the kichten is amazing. We were there in winter time, meaning the stuga was surrounded by a thick layer of snow. Besides, it was a few steps away from the fully frozen lake. I would definitely recommend this stuga to anyone looking to get away and spend some time close to nature. Carine and Toon were very helpful and were always there when we had questions. We are very curious what the stuga (and especially the surroundings) looks like in summer !:) Toon and Carine, thank you again, we wish you all the best!

Herzlichen Dank an Carine und Toon. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Carine und Toon sind genau die Gastgeber, die man sich wünscht. Immer zur Stelle wenn man sie braucht und doch dezent im Hintergrund. Die Lage am See ist einmalig. Das Haus ist absolut funktional und zweckmäßig ausgerüstet und überzeugt mit dezenter Einrichtung ohne unnötigen Kitsch. Im superhellen Wohnbereich fühlt man sich auch zur Winterzeit durch die großen Fenster an den Seiten und zur Terrasse, als wenn man den ganzen Urlaub in der freien Natur sitzt.Dem Wintersportvergnügen auf Langlaufski steht mit dem See und den zumeist durch einheimische Langläufer auf den Waldwegen rings um den See gespurte Loipen nichts im Wege. Wir hatten zwar unsere eigen Ski mit, hätten aber auch von Carine und Toon bereitgestellte Ski benutzen können. Außerdem standen 2 paar professionelle Schneeschuhe für ausgedehnte Wanderungen in den Wäldern zur Verfügung. Besonderes Highlight war die freie Nutzung des Eisbohrers und die bereitgestellten 2 Top-Eisangeln. So konnten wir uns auf diesem Gebiet einmal ausprobieren. Selbst ein Räucherofen stand zur Verfügung bereit. Die Fangquote war zwar nicht berauschend, was aber sicher am Angler selbst lag ;-). Die täglichen Saunagänge rundeten das absolute Relax-Vergnügen ab. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das Hausklima. Da das ganze Haus innen bewußt mit unbehandeltem Holz ausgekleidet ist, versprüht es nicht nur optisch einen wunderbaren Charme, sondern sorgt durch das verwendete Material für ein herrliches Raumklima, was bestimmt Allergiker sehr freuen wird.Wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser bezogen, aber dieses ist mit Abstand eines unserer Top-Favoriten.

Since our children were big enough, it worked out that way. The bedrooms are cozy, but their size does not make them suitable for children to play in. The sauna was absolutely great! Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub im gemütlichen Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht und Lage. Ganz besonderer Dank gilt den beiden super freundlichen Gastgebern, die uns stets zur Hilfe kamen! Das Haus liegt wunderschön am See, gleich am Wald und Hügeln. Im Winter war also für alles gesorgt, ob Wandern, Langlaufskifahren oder Rodeln. Eine sehr schön präparierte Loipe gab es 20 Min entfernt in Stugun. Um mit dem Auto bei Schnee ans Haus zu kommen braucht man sicherlich Allradreifen. Unsere Schneeketten reichten nicht aus. Das Haus war immer gemütlich warm und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Einziger Abzg für uns als Familie war ein fehlender "normaler"Tisch zum Essen und Spielen. Da unsere Kinder aber groß genug waren,hat es auch so geklappt. Die Schlafzimmer sind gemütlich, aber von der Größe nicht als Spielzimmer für Kinder geeignet. Absolut top war die Sauna! Insgesamt war es ein super Urlaub und wir sagen Carine und Toon herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!
